In our country’s current climate of racial tension and civil unrest, Fort Wayne UNITED is positioned to provide support through a plan to create and lead a comprehensive program for city-wide cultural competency training, racial healing, and unity. Many organizational leaders are exploring their next steps forward and have an interest in or are already working diligently in the area of diversity, equity, and inclusion. As our wider community struggles to respond to the urgent need for racial understanding, we have a unique opportunity to influence and reshape what it means to live and be part of Fort Wayne by joining forces and growing together through the United Front framework offered by Fort Wayne UNITED.

INITIATIVE GOALS
Our goal is to bring the community of Fort Wayne together to attain racial healing, equity, education, and organizational transformation. Our strategy for accomplishing this goal is to develop shared knowledge and understanding around various topics related to diversity and inclusion throughout the city of Fort Wayne. Additionally, we hope to empower Fort Wayne organizations and corporations with the ability to value diversity, assess their environments, and implement interventions that will enhance their inclusive cultures, motivating people to work together toward community shared goals.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Keynote sessions will be conducted by Dr. Pascal Losambe, featuring his comprehensive curriculum designed to educate, equip, and empower organizations to embrace inclusion and transform their cultures. Virtual webinars will follow the keynote curriculum with an in-depth look at how the monthly topic impacts individuals based on their role, such as People Leaders, Front Line Service, Education, Criminal Justice, Diversity & Inclusion Lead, and others.
